If you haven't, please download, its worth it.
Best sounding UMphrey's recording I've heard on archive. Crowd is audible but not at the expense of the band, great clarity, well balanced, almost sounds like a Board tape. Was looking for a good Partyin' Peeps for a party and found this. Knew I had to download IMMEDIATELY!
THANKS TIM, you're the man.
Partyin Peeps - A steady rendition, not quite the quality of the later Melkweg 3-23-'10 show, but still respectable.
Cemetery Walk - Excellent example, well played, Bayless/Cinninger break out at the end for some well matched guitar fun
Pay The Snucka - Very heavy Cummins/Farag/Myers groovage, with Krasno/Cinninger taking it slow easy the first bit. Guitar comes in with a bit of good solo. Hall and Cummins rock the Moog and keys. Over all a great jam track.
#5 - Appropriately the 5th song played... Heavy from Bayless/Cinninger matched with GREAT percussion from Farag/Myers. Very enjoyable, well paced, well composed, well preformed.
Sociable Jimmy - Gets my head bobbing every time I hear it! Good, groovy, and funky. Good work by all.
Booth Love - Well played, nothing particularly stood out to me, fairly typical Booth Love.
The Linear - NEW! (at least the lyrics) first recording of it on Archive is 2010-02-02... Good though, very mellow.
Pay The Snucka - OH MY GOD! I think my face melted when I first heard. BALLIN. I bow to the Cinninger.
SET 2
Intro - Nothin special
Divisions>Wanna Be Starting Something Jam> - Well played, band very in tune with one another (as it needs to be for this song) teases of other Cinninger solos in there. Very good, dig the MJ jam
